I got a chance to visit the Sarit Expo Centre yesterday. My Sister and me wanted to see what the expo had to offer. The Sarit Centre building can be a bit intimidating, but we found the Expo tucked in on the 1st floor, close to the epic huge food court.
The Expo organizers did a great job arranging the place, you walk in and instantly it feels like walking into the Egyptian Nights. ^_^ A lot of incense burned in the air, and of course, the merchandise was colorful and exotic.
Obviously, the shiny attracted my eye first. I spent a lot of time checking out the gold jewelry and the different statues of pyramids, pharaohs and elephants.
They had a lot of fabric, and clothes too.
There was furniture, cutlery, and more Jewelry. This next set of photos are a bit eefy, because of loads of people in the small aisles. ^_^ But I hope you enjoy them anyway.
It was fun walking around, and seeing the very many merchants who came for the Expo. They close today on the 8th of June and then they’re heading for Mombasa, as one of the merchants told us. We had a good time.
